I like Cleveland. I always have a good time here. I played at the Grog Shop on the Where’s the Band Tour tonight. Me, Matt, Chris and Dustin covered Linoleum and Boxcar together. I’m sure it’s on youtube. Check it out.We all also recorded some songs and interviews today at the Aternative Press offices for their podcast. Scott Heisel and Mike Shea are good dudes. And Scott reads my blog so he’s a double good dude.

How retarded are those late night commercials about chatting with LIVE girls. Phone sex is one thing, but with the internet, even that’s kind of dumb now. Dating services are totally cool. But people are willing to pay just to have conversations with women? So weird.

I’ve been in the studio a lot lately working on a lot of awesome new things. some cool very out of the box things and some things that have been a long time coming. Working on a couple of great colaborations. One of them might be the greatest thing since We Are The World.

I love playing solo shows. I love playing Bayside shows too. Solo shows are a cool way of breaking up the Bayside ones to keep me on my toes. Playing by myself is a lot like playing was before I was in my band and just starting out. It’s like, i don’t really know what to play, and what i do decide to play, I don’t know how to play it very well. It’s kind of raw and punk rock like that, if that makes any sense. Go figure, when you take away the drums and distortion it makes it more punk. Maybe it doesn’t sound like that, but from where I’m sitting, it’s as off the cuff and spontaneous as it gets. Trust me.
